Problem:
This master bedroom was cluttered and untidy and lacked appeal. A large sofa blocked the flow into the room and made the space look and feel cramped. Ideally, master bedrooms should be welcoming and evoke a sense of "calm".

Solution:
The owners agreed to send the excess furnishings, clothing and personal belongings to mini-storage.  The two blue side tables were replaced with a pair of small cabinets from the office space. New bed linens and inexpensive reading lamps significantly increased the appeal of the room. The owners’ artwork, previously stored behind the chair, created a beautiful, focal point and centered the room. The reading chair was repositioned to the right corner and an artificial tree was brought in to add color and scale to the room.
