Solution:

Following our recommendations, most of the furnishings were removed. The owner moved several pieces in from another room and purchased some new inexpensive furnishings to complete the setting. The owners also invested in fresh paint and some repair work.

From ordinary to extraordinary!

The co-op received two offers at the first brokers' open house.

Problem:

A second view of this brownstone living room shows that the curtains covering the opening to the office niche were distracting and detracted from the elegance of the room.

Solution:

The owners invested in attractive French doors and some new lighting. The office niche was then showcased. As a result, the entire room has a much more elegant and cohesive style.

Problem:

This master bedroom was cluttered and untidy and lacked appeal. A large sofa blocked the flow into the room and made the space look and feel cramped. Ideally, master bedrooms should be welcoming and evoke a sense of "calm".

Solution:

The owners agreed to send the excess furnishings, clothing and personal belongings to mini-storage.  The two blue side tables were replaced with a pair of small cabinets from the office space. New bed linens and inexpensive reading lamps significantly increased the appeal of the room.

The owners' artwork, previously stored behind the chair, created a beautiful, focal point and centered the room. The reading chair was repositioned to the right corner and an artificial tree was brought in to add color and scale to the room.

Problem:

This Upper West Side studio apartment felt "tired" and lacked appeal.

Service:

On a very tight budget, the apartment was edited of most of the furnishings and then painted and professionally cleaned. We rented furnishings and showcased with decorative accessories.

The apartment sold significantly over ask with multiple offers.

Problem:

The library of this estate-sale home had been used as a temporary storage area while contractor's work was being completed. Adjacent to the formal living room, it needed to look its best.

We always recommend clearing counter tops of all day-to-day items and showcasing them with just a few decorative items. Bon Appetit!

Problem:

Although there was already a room dedicated to a home office in this apartment, this baby's room was compromised with additional office furniture and clutter. Because this is a family co-op, it is very important to showcase this room as an appealing child's bedroom.
